New Adult Policy for AT LARGE Players! |
| |
The Great Lakes Region has adopted a new policy this season allowing individuals to register as AT LARGE players not associated to any particular team to register. These players are posted under the Adult Info link and can be accessed by selecting "Players" from the left menu- a listing of eligible At Large players is posted to allow teams who may be in need of finding a fill in for a tournament to find player contact info. Included in the listing is the name, phone, and email info. Also included is the division and position of the player. We hope that this new policy will help players eventually find teams as well as teams to fill last minute needs without having to actually register the player to their team. |

Incorporating your Club with Region CPA Firm |

If you are interested in contacting the Region Accounting Firm to incorporate your club, you can contact a firm partner Peter Recchia, CPA at Pete@Leonard-CPAs.com. Pete and I went to college together so mention Angelo's name. They also are the accountants for a few of the Region Clubs. They know and understand how our Volleyball Clubs run and operate. They are located in Elmwood Park on North Avenue, just west of Harlem. Phone is (708) 456-9122. If Pete is out of the office, you can ask for Chris Smith as well. |

THIS RULE WILL BE PREFACED BY THE FOLLOWING STATEMENT.
THIS RULE IS FOR SANCTIONED GREAT LAKES REGION TOURNAMENTS ONLY. If you play out of Region the rule may be different or non-existent.
Boys 10 & under may compete with Girls 10 & over.
Boys 12 & under may compete with Girls 12 & over
Boys 13 & under may compete with Girls 13 & over
Boys 14 & under may compete with Girls 15 & over.
If a girls team decides to play up in a division (example, a 12 & under girls team playing in a 13 yr old division) and there is a 13 yr old boy(s) team entered, the TD should notify the 12G team that they will be competing in a tournament with a boys team. It will then be up to the 12g team to compete in that tournament.
